Behind the Design: The National Museum of Women in the Arts Museum in Washington DC asked us to come up with a design inspired by their permanent collection. Faith Ringgold's painting, Jo Baker's Bananas, which depicts the famous American entertainer Josephine Baker performing her signature “Banana Dance" caught our eye and is the inspiration for our two-toned bananas dancing across our dish towel.
