Where is The Neighborgoods Studio located?
The Neighborgoods Studio is located at 4300 Georgia Avenue NW Washington, D.C. 20011 (at the intersection of Iowa and Georgia Avenue), next to the Petworth Neighborhood Library.


What is The Neighborgoods Studio?
This studio space is where we operate The Neighborgoods. A lot happens in this space such as receiving and holding our inventory, packaging up products, brainstorming and designing new ideas. 

It is also where we our team is hard at work fulfilling and shipping all of our ecommerce and wholesale orders to send out to customers like you and our 900+ wholesale retailers across the country.


Can I shop at The Neighborgoods Studio?
Unfortunately, The Neighborgoods Studio is not open to the public, we have a lot going on in the space on a daily basis and honestly just don't have the room or bandwidth as a small business to make it a retail store front.

However, we love being a part of the community and host some Open Studio events throughout the year where you are invited to come in and shop our studio shelves, check out where the magic happens, and meet our team in person.

Can I place my order online and pick it up in person at the studio?
If you’re local, you can use the code PICKUP for free shipping. You can pick up your order at The Neighborgoods Studio Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am - 4:30pm.

PRODUCTS

Where can I find The Neighborgoods products?
You can shop our goods in a few different ways: 

1. WEBSITE: You can shop right here on our website conveniently from your home, in your pajamas, or while you're out and about from your phone. We will ship directly to you, or if you're local use the code PICKUP for free shipping, and can come pick up your order at our Studio Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am - 4:30pm.

2. RETAILERS: You can shop our goods at any of our 900+ retailers across the country, click here to find a store near you. Not all of wholesale partners carry all of our products, so if you're looking for something specific you should call ahead and ask if they carry it.

3. NEIGHBORGOODS DC STORE in REAGAN AIRPORT: As of May 2024, we officially opened a storefront in the DCA Reagan National Airport with our partners W.H.Smith. It is located in Termninal 2, after security, in the National Hall close to the C Gates. Click here to check it out and stop by next time you're traveling through DC.

4. IN PERSON: Last but not least, we participate in a few events throughout the year where you can buy our goods in-person. Be sure to check out our EVENTS PAGE here to find out where we're popping up next.

 

How do I wash my Neighborgoods DISH TOWEL?
Our dish towels are machine washable. To preserve the vibrancy of our screen-printed designs we suggest washing the dish towel in cold water, tumble low or hang to dry.

 

How do I clean my Neighborgoods SPONGE CLOTH?
Our sponge cloths last for several months, and you can wash them to keep clean in between uses.

You can wash in dishwasher (top rack recommended) or washing machine, and  hang to dry, do not put in dryer.

ONLINE ORDERS

How long will it take to get my order?
We ship within 3-4 business days of your purchase, and you can choose what shipping option you prefer at checkout if you need it quicker. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time (depending on your location), please send us an email at hello@theneighborgoods.com and we'll get to the bottom of it.

 

Can I get a refund or exchange my product?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your product(s) please email support@theneighborgoods.com within 15 days of receiving.

To be eligible for a full refund your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. You will need to ship back the product(s) to:

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and you will receive a refund for the product(s) cost once the product(s) are received on our end.

SECONDS SALE

What is the Seconds Sale Exactly?  

The Seconds Sale is our annual online sale where we offer our perfectly imperfect and discontinued items at 50% off. You'll find great deals on products like our dish towels, totes, sponge cloths, aprons, and more!

Our seconds stash this year is our BIGGEST YET, below is our pile of goodies for sale this year to get you excited, and here is a video of us getting ready for the big weekend.

 

What makes a product a "second"?

These are products we like to call perfectly imperfect which means they may contain some kind of defect or misprint that makes it unable to sell at full price. Here is a video you can watch showing some potential imperfections and below are a few more examples, please note your item may have one of these damages listed or something else that makes us unable to sell it at full price.

• A dish towel may have frayed edges, small holes, or slight misprints caused by the screen printing process.

• Faded packaging or colors on products from being on display, or damaged packaging from lugging to and from markets.

• We have been making some color updates on our designs to give them a little more oomph (and because we always like to be improving our goods for you). So we have a lot of products that are the "old" color but still perfectly fine. Below is an example of the old and new peach colors. We updated a handful of towels and some totes in various designs.

In most cases, customers say they can't even see the defect, but we want to be upfront to set clear expectations— as we hate to disappoint and there are no returns on sale items.

 

Will my Seconds Sale products come packaged? 

It is not guaranteed that your product will come with packaging, most sale items will not have packaging included. Some sale products DO have packaging but it may have be damaged by a spill, bent during transit to and from a market, or is ripped or faded for some reason or another.

If you'd like your products to arrive with packaging so you can gift your goods this sale might not be for you and you can still buy our regularly priced, fully packaged goods as well along with your sale items.

 

Can I exchange or return an item purchased from the Seconds Sale? 

All items sold in our Seconds Sale are final sale, sold as-is, and cannot be returned or exchanged. 

 

Are items in my cart reserved during the sale?

While this is our largest Seconds Sale ever, quantities are still limited and not guaranteed yours until you check out. Items added to your cart during the sale are not reserved and may sell out before you complete your purchase. Your order is only confirmed once you have checked out.

 

When will my sale items ship?

Due to the holiday weekend + excess amount of orders we receive during the sale, all orders placed during our seconds sale (Aug. 30 - Sept. 2) will take approximately 5-7 days to ship out.
